Authorby: Rebecca Maguire Iration played in Virginia on August 28, 2013 at The NorVa in Norfolk. It is a major headline tour for them with Micah Brown, Fortunate Youth and Through the Roots as their opening acts.
Iration is promoting their new album Automatic on this tour and even though they are minus Kai Rediske on vocals the show ran smoothly with Micah Pueschel taking the reins as the solo lead vocalist. Iration started off with the title track off of their new album, Automatic. (Listen below) and then they played Turn Around and Wait and See off of their Time Bomb album before going into Electricity off of Sample This. By this time the crowd was totally into the smooth reggae rock sing along and ready for a few more new songs. Iration delivered with One Way Track and Back Around. I like the way the band intertwined the new songs with the fan favorites. It really kept the crowd rocking and wanting more. Iration played a total of 15 songs with five new songs in the set. I loved the encore of Tom Petty's song, Mary Jane's Last Dance followed by Falling off of Time Bomb and so did the fans. Everyone was singing their hearts out. The NorVa was packed for this show on a Wednesday night too. I was pleasantly surprised. Iration delivered a great show. Nice job guys! Check out the band's new album Automatic too. It is filled with several different tracks. There is something bound to please you on it. Categories |
